About Scrimmage Day
The primary purpose of Scrimmage Day is to give teams a valuable, low-stakes opportunity to practice against other teams before State Conference. Teams that participate will receive thorough constructive feedback on how they can improve before State Conference, allowing them to refine their performance, build their confidence, and ensure that they’re prepared before State Conference.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will the rounds be scored?
Each round will be scored so that teams can see the areas they need to improve. However, there will be no overall winner at the end of the day.
Will our scores impact what court my team is placed in at State?
The way your team performs at the Scrimmage Day won’t impact which court you’re placed in. However, we highly encourage all teams to perform as if it were State Conference so they can fully benefit from the practice.
Do I need to dress professionally?
The dress code is business casual. You can wear something similar to what you wore at Districts.
