Mock Trial is a competitive activity where teams simulate a real courtroom trial using a fictional case. Each team has to prepare both sides of the case (prosecution or plaintiff and defense) before District and State Conference. Each team is made up of attorneys and witnesses. Attorneys present their team’s arguments while applying real Oklahoma law, question witnesses, and make objections based on the Oklahoma YAG Rules of Evidence. Witnesses take the stand and portray a character, bringing the case to life.
